Yarn Process

The process begins with the finest merino sourced from ethically-based mills and farms. The yarn is then hand-dyed and speckled with non-heavy metal acid dyes. To finish off the process, the wool is soaked and rinsed in fragrance-free wool wash, hung to dry, skeined, and then packaged with the greatest of care.
During the first wash, some light color bleeding may occur, which is completely normal for hand-dyed yarns. To make sure that yarn doesn't continue to bleed or felt, please hand wash all hand-dyed yarns in cool water with wool wash and block to dry.
Hand-dyed yarn is quite unique, as they are dyed in very small dye lots making each skein slightly different in its beauty. As always, I will try my best to make colorways as similar as possible. So, please expect some variation of color when ordering your skein as it may look different than the one photographed.
In addition, computer monitors vary in their coloring, so please remember that when ordering.
 

Shipping
US Orders: All packages are shipped via USPS First Class Package and Priority Mail. Tracking numbers are sent to the email address that is provided at checkout once your order is complete and ready to go out. Please follow your package's progress through USPS and contact them directly if any issues arise.

International Orders: All packages are shipped via International First Class. Unfortunately, it is difficult to track parcels after they leave the United States. Once packages are accepted by the USPS we cannot assume any responsibility for lost or damaged items. Any extra customs fees that may accrue are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Please Note: Orders are shipped to the address that is provided by the customer at checkout. Please make sure all information is entered in correctly as we will not be responsible for lost packages due to address errors. 

Shipping charge overages in excess of $2.00 will be refunded via Paypal or card listed on order.

Pre-orders
All pre-orders will ship out as specified by the date listed on the product page. Any in-stock yarn purchased with pre-orders will ship out together unless otherwise stated. Please read pre-order listings closely before purchasing as failure to comply with pre-order policies could result in order being cancelled. 

Refunds
If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will do our best to fix this situation. Items returned within 2 weeks in original skein-form are eligible for a refund. Caked yarns are not refundable. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs as all shipping charges are non-refundable. Unfortunately, international sales are final. 

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges at this time.

Custom Orders
Unfortunately, we cannot accept custom orders at this time.

Design Support
To request yarn support for your knitted or crocheted design, please send an email to woolberryfiberco@gmail.com with a proposal that includes the following: 

• A description of the design, including sketches.
• Yarn base, quantity, and colorway.
• Timeframe for releasing official pattern (including test knit timeframe). 
• Links or photos of previous designs, as well as Raverly username (if applicable).
• Name and address for shipping.

WBFC will review and contact designers within 2 weeks of receiving proposal. Once your request has been approved, we will provide you with a shipment date.
