The Nature of Hand-Dyed Yarn

Hand-dyed yarn is, well, dyed by hand which means every single skein of yarn will be slightly unique from the others. We use small dye lots to help keep consistency higher. But as a result of this, please expect some variation of color when ordering your skein as it may look different than the one photographed. We will always try our best to replicate the photos shown as closely as possible. In addition, computer monitors vary in their coloring, so please keep those things in mind when ordering.


Washing

During the first wash, some light color bleeding may occur, especially for deeper colors, this is normal and should be resolved within the first wash. To keep your hand-knits feeling like new, please hand wash all hand-dyed yarns in cool water with wool wash and block to dry. Dye croaking (transferring onto hands) may occur while knitting/crocheting with black, navy/teal, and burgundy. It should resolve itself after the first few washes. Similar to indigo dyed jeans can transfer onto skin until its been washed a few times.


Shipping

All US Orders are shipped via USPS First Class Package or Priority Mail. If you would like your order expedited, please use the contact form on the website and we will try our best to accommodate. Tracking numbers are sent to the email address on file. For information on your package, please refer to the USPS link sent with your shipping notification and if an issue should arise, contact USPS directly. 

For International Orders: All packages are shipped via International First Class. Once packages are accepted by the USPS we cannot assume any responsibility for lost or damaged items. Any extra customs fees that may accrue are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Please Note: Orders are shipped to the address that is provided by the customer at checkout. Please make sure all information is entered in correctly as we will not be responsible for lost packages due to address errors.


Placing Orders

Please look through the order carefully before placing it, as we do not allow orders to be cancelled once they are placed. We apologize for this inconvenience.  We do offer refunds, please scroll down for those policies.


Gift Cards

All gift cards purchased through Woolberry Fiber Co. are final sale and non-refundable. 


Pre-orders

All pre-orders will ship out as specified by the date listed on the product page. Any in-stock yarn purchased with pre-orders will ship out together unless otherwise stated. Please read pre-order listings carefully before purchasing as failure to comply with pre-order policies could result in order being cancelled. 


Refunds

Please contact us if you are unhappy with your purchase and we will do our best to fix this situation. Items returned within 14 days in original skein-form are eligible for a refund. Please note ALL PREORDER yarns will be charged a 10% re-stock fee upon return. Exceptions include: wrong item received. Caked yarns are not refundable. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs as all shipping charges are non-refundable. International, holiday-related colorways, and club sales are final


Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you are unhappy with your order, please refer to the Returns section of our policies. 


Safety Warning 

Woolberry Fiber Co., LLC will not be responsible for any bodily harm or damage done while using product. This includes (but is not limited to) bleeding, strangulation, leg or arm amputation, choking, allergic reaction, burning body parts due to hot beverages, etc. Once product is in possession of buyer, buyer is responsible both legally and financially for all costs associated with this product. Please use responsibly.

Collective Memberships

Monthly memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. All discounts and perks are for collective members only. One Membership is required per person please. Members who are found sharing their discount/perks will be removed from the Collective. Thank you for understanding!

Unfortunately, we cannot accept custom colorway orders at this time.
